Hello, my friends! My evening skincare has become my favorite part of the evening and my cue that it’s time to unwind. I do my routine, make a cup of tea or pour a glass of wine and either watch a show with my husband or hop into bed with a book. My current reads are books on French living. I’m really missing travel right now so books are taking me to all the places I want to go!

My evening skincare routine is listed below. I feel like there’s enough of an introduction to my skincare history in the morning routine post, so let’s get right to the info you came for! Links to products located at the bottom of this post.

8 Step Nighttime Skincare Routine
Step 1. Remove makeup with micellar water or make-up erase cloth.
Step 2. Wash face with Origins Frothy Foaming Face Wash.

Step 3. Apply Dr. Dennis Gross Skincare Alpha Beta Peel, Extra Strength. THIS product literally changed my skin’s texture in days! This is the newest addition to my skincare routine (I’ve been using it for a couple of months now) and I have never found anything work so quickly or so effectively for reducing pore size and smoothing skin texture. By the end of week one of using this my pores shrunk significantly, clogged pores were clear, and the uneven skin texture on my cheeks from acne days was so much smoother. I am so impressed with this product! I used this nightly for the first week and then moved to every two or three nights after that.

Step 4. Apply hyaluronic acid all over face and neck. This helps draw moisture into the skin all night. I use a gel version by Derma-E. It soaks in completely and only takes a tiny amount to cover my face.

Step 5. Apply Dr. Jart+ V7 serum all over face and neck. Especially when using a peel such as in Step 3, the application of vitamins is very beneficial. It helps protect against free radicals and brightens and evens skin tone.

Step 6. If doing Step 3: Apply Origins Moisturizing Toner or Origins Hydrating Overnight Mask, depending on if I feel like my skin needs extra moisture or not. The overnight mask is super hydrating and a little bit goes a long way! If skipping Step 3: Apply Origins Nightamins Moisturizer.

Step 7. Origins Energizing Eye Serum. I prefer the jar size of this over the sponge-tip applicator min that I purchased most recently. The cap on the tube size is very hard to remove if your hand have any product on them already! This particular eye cream is good for depuffing and brightening.
Step 8. Laneige Sleeping Lip Mask. I wake up with smoother, hydrated lips.

So there we have it! It sounds like a lot of steps and perhaps a complicated routine, but it’s really not! And I swear when I’m on top of my skincare game I have to wear much less concealer and my makeup goes on SO smoothly! There are even days when I can get away with just a little under eye concealer and bronzing powder for my skin. I’ll share my favorite makeup products with you soon!

If you want to try any of the products I’ve listed, there are links to everything below. I’ve used all of the products for months now and can vouch for every single one of them. That said, please consult your dermatologist before starting any new skincare routine and don’t use if you’re allergic to any of the ingredients. There are also sensitive skin options for the Dr. Dennis Gross daily peels, which I would suggest if you have sensitive skin, but again, check the ingredients list on all products before trying them and do a patch test if you’re concerned at all.
